Meet Our Founder
At Medec Medical – Express Care, our mission is rooted in a passion for providing accessible healthcare to our community. Founded by Dr. Qazim Salia, MP, PA-C with over 25 years of medical experience, including 10 years in emergency and primary care. He is proud to partner with Dr. Michael Meloni, MD, who serves as our Medical Director and brings over 30 years of experience in emergency medicine and primary care. Our clinic is a testament to a calling that began during the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic.
A Journey Home
Our founder, who holds a foreign MD, has traveled across the United States during the pandemic, taking on crucial roles as a PA-C in hospitals from New Mexico to Georgia and Florida Panhandle. In these high-pressure environments, he encountered many seriously ill COVID-19 patients, which deepened his commitment to serving those in need.
In early 2020, recognizing the challenges from COVID-19 in Brevard County and the need for additional access to medical care, he decided to open Medec Medical – Express Care. Many hospitals were at full capacity and local providers and family clinics were shutting down due to the pandemic, leaving vulnerable patients without immediate access to medical care. This moment of reflection sparked a decision: why not return home to help his community?
Opening Our Doors
In April 2021, Medec Medical – Express Care officially opened its doors in Titusville, Florida. From the outset, our focus was clear—providing immediate, compassionate care to all the patients in need and those affected by the pandemic. Our clinic immediately reached out to Florida Shot to offer COVID-19 vaccinations to the public and initiated free COVID-19 testing and treatment for patients of all ages.
During the COVID-19 pandemic and after, our clinic has seen thousands of patients of all ages and backgrounds, we also extended our hours to meet the urgent needs of our community, allowing us to handle a higher volume of patients and ensure everyone received the care they needed.
Our mission extends beyond treating illness. Our clinic is passionate about reducing the burden on emergency rooms, ensuring that patients don’t have to wait for hours outside hospitals. We strive to create a welcoming environment where individuals can receive the care they need promptly.
Our Mission
As we continue to grow, our clinic continues to offer primary care and now we also offer aesthetic services – Q Aesthetics to the community. With extensive medical training and experience in aesthetic medicine, injection techniques and skin care rejuvenation gained through medical training in Europe, our clinic aims to offer high-quality, affordable aesthetic treatments. Our goal is simple: to make healthcare and beauty accessible to everyone.
We believe that aesthetic care should be within reach for all individuals, and we are committed to offering fair pricing on our treatments. From rejuvenating facials to injectables, facial threads, skin enhancement procedure and facial lasers, we want our clients to feel confident and beautiful without breaking the bank.
As we continue to evolve, our commitment to our community remains unwavering. We are proud to be a part of Brevard County, providing high-quality primary care and aesthetic services to all our neighbors.
Thank you for trusting us with your healthcare needs. We look forward to serving you!
